Hyperlapse from Instagram App Reviews

Could be so much more useful

Despite what this quality app can do, nine times out of ten youre not going to think about need a stabilizer until after you see the video is too jumpy — and you cant adjust/upload existing footage. Not quite as useful as it could be.

Shaky

Started using this app a lot once I got the 6s - however noticed that the videos from this app had a shaky/jittery effect like a sway while the time-lapse video using Apples camera app was perfectly stable. Please fix this.

Good Quality & Non shaking

I like it like it

Better than built in iPhone Camera

I feel it is better than the time lapse app on iPhone.

Awesome

Great effects when you are prepared to experiment

Cant trim and kills memory

Need a way to trim the videos before saving. Plus as another reviewer mentioned, these videos will take up all your memory.

Hyperlapse

This app is def fun!

Needs 4K on 6s and SE

This app is great but hasnt been updated in 6+ months. It needs 4K support!

love

very creative and useful.. but would be even better if it included a flash option!

Better than built in iPhone tool

Great app! Highly recommend it.

Minor issues but great otherwise

As mentioned before it doesnt autofocus. Also will not adjust exposure once you start which usually means having to cut light clips that changed exposure from what initially existed. Apple must block apps from using these key areas which are incorporated in the iPhone native app. Too bad because eliminating shake and a more pleasant video speed compared to Apple are reason enough for me to use it always compared to Apple time lapse

Hyperlapse and IG

I like how this app shortens long videos to make postable to social media apps not just Instagram.

Broken! Please fix!

Hyperlapse used to work flawlessly and amazingly. Now it stutters and crashes and the video often freezes after about a minute. Please fix my favorite app! [Previous review: As others have said, this app is amazing! Stabilization at 1X is stunning. In low light situations, however, the video can be blurry or pulse in a weird way. This may be a limitation of the technology, but if not, maybe a fix/improvement could be implemented.]

Only records 45-minutes!

This is useless as it only records up to 45-minutes! A true time-lapse app should record until you stop it.
