This is a great app, i use it to shoot my videos, becuas of its greate stablizer. Pls add 60fps and 120fps video capturing support for the app.

Instagram just committed suicide with this latest update that drastically changed the look and features that made it popular. I initially upgraded and gave it a chance, but then I was forced to revert to the prior version via my PC. The branding and UI may seem dated to you, but weve all come to know and love it. Minor tweaks to the app icon and theme would have been welcome, but who are you kidding when you try convincing everyone that the new iOS logo still represents the old branding? You look like some 3rd party app trying to uniquely knock-off the awesome IG app logo. The UI background, feed, and features are horrible. I cant stand looking at the app without my eyes hurting (and I keep my screen fairly dim!). Aside from that, the benefit of the classic IG background is that it made viewing and editing photos easy on the eyes and accurate. I already see that IG users (pro photographers included!) are not ending up with the best results in their editing (theres a reason that all photo editing apps have dark backgrounds and avoid harsh ones!). You went back on that promise to let us view the feed in chronological order of posts a month after supposedly "hearing us" -- your app cant determine what I deem most important. I like see all of my posts in order, but if youre ramming post importance down my throat, at least let me indicate which accounts I care most about. Let me switch between both options as I see fit. Then its those little things that count like having usernames and hashtags now charging from blue to black -- so I cant easily distinguish linked items from comments. I cant easily access saved hashtags anymore without scrolling through a ginormous list. I mean, there are so many things in the UI that just didnt need changing or fixing -- so why fix what isnt broken?! Im really disappointed with this update. You killed the IG people have come to know and love. Can you imagine drastically changing the Facebook logo, theme, and/or features?! Branding = identity. Features can make or break the user experience. IGs branding and features have become a recognized classic -- even by those who dont use the app! If you feel IG needs such new direction ( . . . and it does NOT), then kill the app altogether and start a new social media app altogether. Dont try to convince users that this update is better and resembles the old identity. It doesnt. If you dont revert to the old theme, icon, and features, Im pretty certain that virtually nobody will use the app anymore. Id hate to have to mourn for an app that was already great -- whoever had these "brilliant" ideas for this new update should be fired! Thanks for ruining my beloved IG.

Change it back. Too boring.

this app never gets any love. never any new features or bug fixes or enhancements. like for example on my 16gb iPhone the hyperlapse will consume all the storage space on the phone while recording a movie but when you try to hit the check mark to create the hyper lapse itll tell you theres not enough space. but, jump for joy, at least the icon is updated to match Instagram!

This update is very bad it is glitchy on my phone and my friends phone change it back please

I have the newest iOS on my iPhone 6 Plus. Hyperlapse crashes constantly. Sometimes when I press the record button and sometimes when I press the "stop recording" button. Especially the second case is extremely frustrating as you think you are done - and then you loose all your work.

I use this often to videotape things to post on Instagram and definitely appreciate its ability to speed up the video 8 or 12x. Its simple and pared down on purpose but I would love if it could do just a couple more things: upload existing videos from library. I understand this wouldnt allow hyperlapse to improve stability but I would still use the hyper speed functions. More importantly, I need this app to allow me to video tape in square mode (for Instagram). If not, at least let me rotate and adjust the video within a square after filming. I end up having to use third party apps for this and I hate that!

Doesnt condense video. Just films time-lapse like every iPhone can do in-built.

This app is actually really good! I use this app to record my nail videos. I used to use the regular time lapse on my camera app but it went by too fast so I got this app. It goes by very smoothly. Though, there is a few flaws but I will help you fix them. 1. Wheres the music? Save an audio you like and then save the hyperlapse. Now get iMovie and put both audio and hyperlapse into the iMovie. Tah dah! Music!

I remember when Hyperlapse first came out. I downloaded it. It had perfect stabilization. But when the iPhone 6 came out I noticed that my videos became shaky and jittery. I am wondering if Instagram has ever optimize their software to take a vantage of the iPhone 6 Plus hardware. This jittery and shaky and this has gone on for year. Im thinking Instagram really doesnt pay attention to this app anymore on the iOS platform. So if you have an iPhone 6 or 6S you made I want to download this application until you read that stabilization has been fixed. -once a big fan.

When grabbing pictures out of a car window, takes crisp videos that can then be scrubbed frame by frame for stills (using snapstill app). Indispensable for my vacations!

Hyperlapse is the best, but I really wish there was a "back" option once you render out your video in case you change your mind and want to render a new video at a different speed. Also would like to request an option to turn on/off stabilization. Additionally, the stabilization in the current release does not render out as smooth as it used to which is a shame.

WOWZERS.. HYPERLAPSE IS AWESOME! I first heard about HYPERLAPSE on a YouTube video about photography. I decided to check out the app for the mentioned image stabilization feature that uses the internal technology to get better stability in your videos captured. Im so glad I tried this app out. Its now my go to video recording app. Try it and see how amazing and professional your videos will look.
